It seems to only be Scott Grimes going on about this. Nothing yet from Seth McFarlane. After investigating this thread, it comes back here, and to CinemaBlend and thei coverage of the clip from the concert. It would be great if they were continuing, although the last season was more drama than comedy, and quite different. No word yet from Disney which own Hulu, and The Orville New Horizons. Assuming fingers crossed and Scott is somehow in the know about where it's going, and they have scripts, as the writer's strike did a number on all TV shows last year, and official announcement is forthcoming, however, it is possible Scott was fooling, or misquoted at the concert, or wasn't supposed to leak the news. Note that I am not in the know. I have looked up with yall looked up. :)

It will be interesting to watch the Adrianne Palicki/Scott Grimes dynamic after their divorce 4 years ago.

I'm having great difficulty getting through season 2. Can I skip to season 3 or will I miss something important in doing so?

I wonder about Adrianne Palicki. She has said a few times that she's done even if it returns.

Definitely would love to see the union fighting the krill and moclan forces and having them deal with those creepy hive bugs. But having the hive bugs as the new overall threat would be just as good

Great, a more Star Trek show than actual Star Trek these days. Season 3 was epic, the war made it feel like the best parts of Deep Space Nine during the war with the Dominian.

I remain cautiously optimistic. Unfortunately, one actor sharing a supposed start date for production is not an official confirmation. We don't have any updates from Disney or Hulu about whether the series will return. 🙏🙏🙏

I'm glad we're finally back. This show needs at least 10 seasons, spinoffs, and films. Imagine if Disney gave Orville the budget they’d give to Star Wars or Marvel.

Wow! I thought it was over! Cool! One way The Orville was better than Star Trek was the crazy humor of Seasons 1 and 2. Unfortunately the humor seemed to be somewhat lacking in Season 3. Let's hope they make it more entertaining by doing what they're good at, by having more of that humor in Season 4!
